In this article, we have discussed more than a few curly hairstyles that are not only super easy to create but at the same time promises to elevate your look by several notches, even in a bad hair day.

So without further ado, let’s learn them.

1. Long, Soft Romantic Curls

The one way to grab all attention is by adorning your long tresses with soft romantic curls; this beautiful romantic hairstyle not only flaunts your long luscious locks but at the same time also make them look full and voluminous so that you become a person of envy.

Long Soft Romantic Curls

For this hairstyle, section off your hairs in maximum 4 parts for very loose curls, and apply a holding spray like this Herbal Essences Set Me up Beautiful Bold Hold Hairspray for a more defined result. Now take a section of your hair and wrap it around a curling wand for 20-25 seconds to create curls. Repeat this process for all your hair sections and then brush out curls with a flat boar bristle brush for that soft, dreamy look that you have intended.

Don’t forget to form curls in alternate directions.

2. Flirty Fishtail Braid

Want to try a new hairstyle with your long manes?

Then this fishtail braided style is just the one for you; it is an alternative to a classic French style but it still gives your tresses definition and a very appealing appearance.

Flirty Fishtail Braid

Start off by dividing your hairs into two equal parts so that you have a right part and a left part. Now take a thin strand of hairs from the right section and pull it to the inside of the left section. Do the same for the left section and repeat doing this until there is no hair left to pull. Secure the ending with a rubber band to ensure that your flirty braid doesn’t fall apart. Also, spray on some holding spray to hold your style in place for a long time. We prefer the TIGI Bed Head Masterpiece Massive Shine Hairspray for extreme hold.

But remember that a fishtail braid might look a bit bulky when constructed in long curly hair. Therefore adorn your tresses with highlights or ombre to offset the bulkiness and give it a more weightless look.

3. The Dreamy Fishtail Halo

Another variation of the fishtail braid to adorn your long tresses is the fishtail halo; this soft, feminine hairstyle is a lovely combination of the fishtail braid and half-up crown braid with the rest of your tresses left loose for a more laid back outlook.

Dreamy Fishtail Halo Hairstyle

Construct the fishtail braid as we have discussed before but with just a small part of your hairs right from the back of your bangs. Once done braiding your tresses, secure the braid with pins at the center of the back of your head. Now do another braid from the opposite side and also pin at the exact place where you have pinned the previous braid.

Let loose the ends of the braids with the rest of the hair for a messy look.

4. Side Swept Low Ponytail

If you are intending for a princess-y look for an upcoming event, then what’s better than a side-swept low ponytail to adorn your long curly hairs with?

Well, nothing. This fun yet simple to create hairstyle would elevate your look by several notches without having you to spend hour and hours to construct it.

Side Swept Low Ponytail

Start by parting your hairs and then take a portion from both the sides and cross them at the middle of the back side. Secure the strands in place with some bobby pins.

Now repeat this process 2-3 times until you reach a bit above the neck. With the rest of the hairs, construct a side-swept ponytail for a Disney princess look.

5. Beautiful Curly Updo

A messy curly updo is suitable for anywhere and everywhere you go; from weekend outings to attending a dinner party or going for a date night, adorning your long curly tresses with an updo will never let you down.

The reason this curly hairstyle is so popular among women is that it’s super easy to create; you will just need a rubber band and some hairpins.

But be sure to cut your bangs from a hair stylist because we all know what happens while we try bangs at home.

8. Loose Voluminous Curls

The one way to deck up your long hairs with some sexy yet effortless style is by adoring them with loose voluminous curls. These curls not only give your tresses a beach vide but also make them look full of body and bounce.

Even though in photos and movies it seems that this hairstyle is quite hard to get, but in reality, you can achieve these voluminous curls with only some hot rollers or curling iron.

Loose Voluminous Curls

First, separate your tresses into 4-6 sections and wrap up each part into an extra large hot roller (roller diameter must be more than 1 ¼ inch) or curling iron (chose a barrel of at least 1 ¼ inch diameter). Once all the sections are done wrapping and curling, run your fingers through the curls so that the style looks effortless and natural. Now set your style with a setting spray for all day long hold.

You might use the John Frieda Body & Shine Smooth Waves; 8 2-inch Jumbo Rollers in your tresses for voluminous curls.

Or in case you prefer curling iron over hot rollers, we would suggest you opt for this HOT TOOLS Professional 24k Gold Extra-Long Barrel Curling Iron/Wand for Long Lasting Results.

French Braided Low Ponytail

Then braid a little further (like 1-2 inches) and tie it up with a rubber band so that the lower portion of your tresses looks like a ponytail. Now take a small section of hair from the ponytail and wrap it around the hair band to cover the band and make it invisible. Once there is no hair left for wrapping, secure it with hairpins and enjoy a modern-day hairstyle with a hint from the past.

10. The Twisted Bun

One of the best things about curly hairs is that it can uplift any style that would have looked meh in straight tresses. The twisted bun hairstyle is one such style that lifts up your whole look, is extremely easy to create but looks super sophisticated and effortless.

Twisted Bun

Start off by separating two sections of hair on both sides and tie up a low ponytail (just a bit above the nape of your neck) with the rest of the back hairs. Now, take one section from the front that you have parted before, twist it and pull it to the back to wrap it over the top of your ponytail. Pin it in place with bobby pins for a secure hold. Repeat the same with the other part of the hairs.

Once both the hair sections are wrapped around the ponytail, with all the manes construct a bun, secure it with pins for long-lasting hold and enjoy a messy yet classy hairdo.
